Hi I've just built a Muggello 198 with a phbh 30mm and a Gori exhaust, only done about 50 miles so far but pleased with the results but how soon would you put it on a dyno?
Cheers.

I'm running with an AF Clubman at the minute with a 175 kit & 22mm Jetex. What Carb you running with the Clubman, & what sort of power you getting?

26mm PHBH Dellorto since kit was fitted so used for both exhausts. Never had it on a Dyno just gone by performance and plug colour. No trickery done just bolted on kit making sure the squish was right. It will sit around 60mph with a top speed of about 65mph+ (GPS figures) which I am happy with.

That's not bad. I'm getting a cruising speed of around 55mph & top speed of around 60mph. Just need that little bit more to get past the lorries on the dual carriageways & motorways, when going to rallies. When I pull out of their slipstream, I just cant get past with the drag. Very annoying if it's raining, & getting covered in the spray :(

What is the difference between a 25mm PHBH and a 25mm PHBHL?

i have had both in differant setups ! 198 with a 26mm delly jl 3,anclloti,and a gori 50m ! tryed to get the best performence out of the carb and fuel saving! the pipe that worked the best was the jl3 15.6 bhp and 12 lb torque....not very impressive! i now run a tv175 with a 186cc and retained the 116 conrod (converted piston no packer) 30mm delly, varietronics, and a franspeed race ......19.7bhp 15.3 ib torque which am impressed with but due to the revvy pipe and the light flywheel plus 4.81 final drive shes not the best on hills in 4 th gear knock her down to 3rd and she goes like stink! did a 60 mile stint caining she at the weekend and she took 5ltrs to fill her tank back up! happy days!

Looks like there are a few differences; choke size, manifold, atomiser, needle plate, etc.

I love my 186, 26mm phbh remote filter and Indian big bore. Standard Indian gp200 gearing, pulls nicer than my stage 4 Indian motor ever did.

not as impressed with my 225 mugello
