Thanks Martin. This year's extra was the ride out on Saturday morning, attended by about 35 riders. Many of the riders were from Belgian and German, which was great.

The ride was VERY well marshalled by the Sudbry Scooter Club. The best marshalling I have witnessed.

Tony Wright was very pleased withe way that the games went in the post-motorised era. Yes, we have had to cut out the motorised scooters from the fun-and-games due to pressure from our insurance company. I will post a photo of the alternative scooter that was constructed by Jahspeed shortly......

Difficult to miss it really Martin, we popped over to the caravan park for brekkies and when we got back everyone had gone from that field, I did expect that would be the case a s we took it very leisurely 8-)

Re the first band, Rythem Rockets, the girl on the saxophone was in my sons year at school, the last time we saw her she was playing drums in a band at my daughters wedding...small world 8-)

Anyone attending the rally can get entry for £20 by buying the or ticket in advance.

I did that to save myself a fiver...unfortunately my ticket went missing so had to pay £25 on the gate, so saving a fiver actually cost me an extra £20 :(

Still had a good time though and will almost certainly be there next year as well

This is what happens when an insurance company tells you that you can't have powered scooters in the games arena.

Thanks to John at Jahspeed for the creation of the human powered scooters for the beer and banana race. It was brilliant.

Thanks for sight of that Martin. It is good to know that we are still ticking all the right boxes.

Numbers were the same as last year, but the camping became more spread-out than previously, and the Saturday evening rain put the dampers on people's willingness to stand outside and chat. It was all an optical illusion.
