Hi all
I have a dropped headset on my sx- I'm finding the gear change very stiff, especially compared with my other scoots with standard headsets. i have spent a lot of time adjusting the gear change cables to no avail. A friend has suggested that this issue may be because the gear change roller on the drops is a different angle to that of a standard headset..
Has anyone else experienced this problem...is so all suggestions welcome....
Cheers

First thing is to check the gearchange rotates freely in the headset with the cables unhooked and that the pulley isn't rubbing on the headset top or speedo. The first one I did years ago I wasn't happy how the inners ran on the pulley so I welded the outer stops up on the clamp and redrilled them in line with the pulley troughs. This made the gearchanges a lot easier.
