Many thanks MK Monty for taking time out to reply.
I understand explanation and will acquire necessary parts, will set up on bench and give test run before installation.
Enjoy rest of vacation and sink a few more reds (of the liquid kind).

I used diodes on my indicator setup too, works a treat, wish I could tell which ones I used but can't remember. They did come from Maplin though as did the small multiway connector I used to make it easy to disconnect from the headset top without removing the led. Mine also has Lights on and High beam indicators as well as the flasher so I had several wires to disconnect.

Maplins do a 4 way Molex hard drive connector that comes in male and femail form with crimp on connectors. If you need more connections put a male plug on one lot and a female on the other batch. The corespondent plugs on the headset end make reconnecting idiot proof. 1 other tip, my headset is getting full

get an old plastic milk bottle and cut a strip out of the flimsy plastic folding it and shaping it so it fits between the pullies like a U. It keeps any stray wires rubbing moving parts and shorting out

Hi Donnie,
Good to see its all working.......but in all honesty don't think they are bright enough. the mini baynet style bulbs in my mini indicators are only 30mm long and 10mm diameter but are 23watt (just changed one for MOT)

Aye I was thinking the same, its the first time that ive taken it out of the shed to test them when it's not dark, hence I though id do the video in the daylight to see for myself. They are a little brighter than in the video as the exposures not quite right due to the sunlight but Im still thinking ye were all correct on the brightness issue. No good having indicators that are only good at night

Hence I will be looking to find some led jobbies to replace.

Do your fittings take festoon lamps try some Amber and or Cree ones they are very bright but will retain your rat appearance. I hope that was not an insult.

great to see it working and i'm sure the camera is giving us all a false impression of their brightness.
