Need help with a tuning kit, how do you tune your scooter, which kit should I choose, and all general tuning and modifcations questions are for in here.

since building my S2 i've always fancied one.

not being happy with the headlight brightness i carefully bodged a PX disc light to the bars so we now had this look:

the standard c to c screen is made for the SX bars and looks like this:

S 2 bars will fit into it but it's not right.



using the standard one as a template i cut the front off:

and fitted it to the bars and generally gaffer taped it to get the desired effect....sort of!

a road test confirmed, this is how i wanted it.

i produced a wooden plug to fit in another set of bars to replicate the dimensions exactly and gave it to a clubmate who is a laminator, this is his offering compared to the standard one:

a grey spray and rubber trim and it's done.

my RT 1000 fits in a treat :D

this is at the moment a "one off" because of the PX light unit.
ironically about a week after it was done i found out about the boxenstop light conversion which would have saved me a lot of grief but never mind :)
