paint on a MBGM Clubman exhaust

Hi all,
I ve recently bought a BGM Clubman v2 for my GT.
Unfo this was only available either in black or with no paint at all.
I ve decided to go for the unpainted version, but now i prefer to paint it in grey metallic or silver. What do you think about the best way to do this?
I could either paint it on my own using a heat resistant spray, or have a powder coating or a ceramic one.
Of course the ceramic one will be much more expensive. But the question is which one of these will last more and which one would be better for the proper working of this box.

I prefer them black,
I also have an unpainted one,I'll probably use BBQ paint unless you find a cheaper and better solution

I went with Cermakrome on mine, not the cheapest but very pleased with the finish

Oooops,
I just found out that this exhaust has a high temp clear varnish coating from the guy that sent it to me,
he told me that he wants it to look unpainted.

Dimitrios, initially I had mine clear powder coated. But, the exhaust gets particularly hot, when it's on a tuned engine, around the area where the pipe goes into the box. The powder coating just cooked. I wasn't particularly bothered about this to be honest.

I ran it for a year until it needed re-welding. After welding, I bought a £7.99 can of barbeque paint [black, but I believe you can get silver too] and just sprayed it on. Several hundred miles later, it still looks much better than any high temperature exhaust paint that I have ever used.

I sprayed an AF Clubman with "Cold Galv" spray a few years ago. The finish stayed on for a few seasons and then it just needed a quick rub down and respray to smarten it up.

i had the down pipe on mine chromed, the only thing ive found that lasts, the silver paint it came on hasnt burnt off yet, when it does it will get the B&Q BBQ paint treatment.
