Just building a series 1 with reed valved avanti, only a that's cock of clearance frame to reed block at 31.5mm "&series 1 shocker length" , has anyone runa series 1 with a shorter length shocker or will you do clearance be an issue ? Mb clubman exhaust .

Bloody predictive thingy !!! Was asking if "ground clearance" was likely to be an issue.

I had the same problem with the rear shocker on my series 2,in the end I used a series 3 shocker (305mm).I've run the scooter for a year without a problem. So if anybody wants a Scootopia adjustable rear shock for a series 1 or 2,I've got one cheap, never been used.

Yes, my S2 runs a 225 Rapido & reed motor. I used a S3 rear shock and offset cones. No problems.
