What are the pros and cons of having a two piece U bend joined together with springs, do they seal well or is sealant required. Have scootopia in mind. Thanks

Additional scope for movement and fitting so that it is not stressed means less chance of it cracking. If you then throw into the mix the differences in engine component, it simply means that it is more likely to fit (again, more adjustment).
