Hi Guys,
I've just dug out a very old Lambretta helmet from my collection.
It look like its from the 1960s but does anyone know if this is likely to be an original or just a helmet badged up to look like a Lambretta helmet?
Sorry I can't seem to turn the photos around!
Strangely enough though, if you click on either photo they pop up the correct orientation.

It's just a customised generic helmet from the period, is it plastic or GRP?

It's not plastic that's for sure and looks like a typical 60s helmet.

It's difficult to tell from the photos, but is the material used for the fitting around the neck leather/vinyl? It would be if it emanated from the 60's I think. The checkered tape used to be sold everywhere back then and Lambretta stickers were always available too. The white trim round the edge doesn't look right though but I could be wrong.

It's hard to tell if it's vinyl or leather and the white trim certainly looks like an original fitment.
