Looking for a slim battery for my Wassel conversion. Thing is to put it where I want it can't be more than 50mm wide. What are others using and anyone know of thin batteries of 5amp plus?

I spent many hours loooking for that elusive thin / small battery that would fit in my tool box without taking up too much room.
In the end I got this: 12N5-3B 12V 5Ah Yuasa Motorcycle Battery.
It was the best compromise between small size and and Ah.
It important that you have proper screw on terminals rather than the slide on type as your wires will keep slipping off.

cheers & good luck!

That's what I've done on my gp but I've ended up with just 50mm to fit a battery into. Found this 12v 5ah battery which will fit but I can't find a stockist yet
It's a numax SLA5-12 it's 140mm long, 48mm wide and 103mm tall so it's an ideal size.
