Dyno testing

Hi,
my mugello 186 Li series III, is having problems spluttering and cutting out.
It starts first time and ticks over no problem, but when I put it in gear it wont go uphill and stalls. I think the timing is shot and the jetting needs adjusting.
Can anyone recommend a good garage in the manchester area where I can get my scoot dynoed and fixed.
(my regular garage is too busy for the next two weeks)

Why don't you check your timing first ? When that's set correctly, then start jetting through plug chops.
With these symptoms I think you'll be spending a lot on remedial work before it gets put on the dyno.

Yes, i did ring Mike - he said he was too busy, which is why I posted the question in the first place

Im booked in for saturday morning at PSL in Kirkby
Early diagnosis is that its a faulty stator

Got my scoot back on friday from pete at PSL.
Turned out it was faulty wiring in the headset which was shorting out the ignition.
This has been fixed and the scoot dynoed.
16.8 bhp on a mugello 186, but only 68.1 mph?! could swear the speedo once read 80mph!
Its now running really sweet.

That's pretty much what my Mugello does (GPS) with 26mm and Ancelotti clubman. Never trust a Lambretta speedo, my totally standard S2 Li150 often tells me I'm doing 70mph when in reality it struggles to get over 45mph!
