I run a ts1225 with cyclone box
Just bought the cheaper version cassette clutch
slotted it on, torqued up the nut, put the cap on and refitted sidecasing
after a bit of a fiddle with cable and reffiting brass nipple, went to depress lever and it was rock solid virtually..couldnt depress it all the way to handlebar
i opened up casing again to check plunger was ok, and bolted up..still same problem..you would would have to be popeye to work that lever
feel gutted..am i doing something wrong?

have you tried compressing it with a clutch compressor or in a vice to make sure it will compress as there could be something in the basket stopping it

Mine was the same, I just took the cassette out of the basket and tried it in different positions until I was happy with it not catching, it's been perfect for the last couple of years.

Hi i cant be 100% on this but think they either cured it by shimming or ground down thread on end of xmas tree that were protruding through nut. I could be talking b#####ks mate but sure there was something on erotica forum on this subject.

Just done a search on there and as i stated some have had to remove some of the exposed cluster thread above the nut as it fouled when clutch was compressed. Others with the road version had to stip them and file burrs etc off turrets to allow plates to move freely. Cheers. Baz
