Hi all,

I have lost a tooth on my AF close ratio cluster and can't find any in stock at dealers, other gear boxes i have are gp150, a TV175 box and an unknown in a honda 205 motor which i need to split to see what's in it , the Ts is running a franspeed road and a mikuni 35 so really what i'm asking is whats your preferred gear box for a TS?

Thanks Lammer205

If the GP150 and TV175 (sx200) are your only option I would use the tv/sx box. This gives an over-all ratio of 4.80 with 15x46 sprockets which is fine with the pipe being used. Make sure your clutch is in good order and strong because sx boxes can bring to light any weakness in the clutch.

Thanks for the reply dscscotty, i have also split the 205 engine and there is an Li150 box in that with 46/16 sprockets so that will give me other options i think?, also if anyone knows of AF close ratio clusters for sale can you let me know thanks Lammer205.

Thanks for that Roadrunnerian, i thought Andy just had the complete gear box but i will have another look,i need to get the motor back together asap so will use the li150 box with 46 crown wheel and which ever drive sprocket i get recommended to me that suits my pipe etc by someone who knows what there at ;) , i wouldn't pretend to know about gear ratios to tell the truth :? .
