Replacement Reed Petals for V1 LTH Bolt-on Manifold ?

Hi all

Anyone able to confirm which size reeds / reed block the early, fully machined, LTH bolt-on reed block used? The reed block in question is a nice little Stage6 VForce item by Moto Tassinari, rather than the non-V type that is more commonly supplied with the later cast version of the manifold.

Replacement petals are extremely cheap, however, I need to know what model of bike these were intended for so that I can ensure that I order the correct shape and size.

Thanks in advance.

Adam

PS - No problem with the current petals but having done a few thousand miles on them, I don't want to be doing long-distance rallies without some spare petals in the toolbox. Ta

Mental!

Motorcycle Reed Valve System V352A For Yamaha 50 YQ Aerox R E2 2003-2012

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/389013922351 ... name=11412

Complete reed valve delivered within a few working days, from Tokyo, £16.39 all in! Half the price of reeds alone in the UK.

Quality is excellent and came with 4 stickers, gaskets, bolts, etc. Side by side it looks to be exactly the same as I bought with the LTH reed manifold.

Worldwide e-commerce is mental, cheap and efficient. If it wasn't destroying the planet and undermining the British economy, it would be a step forward... hard to argue the price... or not worth the price of destroying the planet?! Either way, a lovely spare reed block for rallies, and at a price that is amazing! I nearly ordered another but I don't need 2 spares.

PS - I should have mentioned that the Ebay link shows £17 ish, however, I looked but didn't buy, then received the £13'ish offer that I then accepted, hence slightly cheaper. Try it, may work for you to... or £13..66 best offer.

Great Nick, I'm glad that others can pick up a spare at a very customer friendly price.

I should highlight again (from my initial post) that this link is for the early smaller fully machined LTH reed manifold (VForce reed. It does also fit the later cast LTH manifold (slightly larger traditional single V reed) and will work but the smaller reed may / may not flow so well at higher demands (full throttle). Without back to back testing it is impossible to say.

Cheers all
