Can anybody give any feedback on using a NK Road with a TS1.

Got one on my TS1/200.
Recommend that the end can spring is the rubber sleeved type. Unsleeved springs suffer from vibration fatigue and wear through at their hooked ends.
Power band is more manageable with a 5 speed box.
Not the most attractive of end cans but well made and don't drop to bits like some.
Not overly noisy.
I like 'em.

Never thought about this. Will check my exhaust springs now lol, cheers

I typically find that mine comes on song at about 7.2k and rolls off around 8K. The dead band is around 4.5K and cleans up after 5K

Mark have you already bought / got one ? The DT jl road pipe is good can’t say on a TS but the one on my Quattrini is great

Cheers Toddy, that's good to know. Top speed / revs is limited with the set-up I have and coming back from Cadwell on Sunday was a struggle with the head wind. Thought it was the pipe, but checking the gearing in the engine it's an SX200 box with 46/16 giving a 4.51 FDR going to put an Li150 box in that I have, which should help a lot, giving a 4.89 FDR. Will relook at the exhaust if needed after that. Cheers.

Why not keep the SX200 gearbox but just change to a 15t front sprocket, which is standard SX gearing ( 4.8) similar to an LI box with 16 x 46 (4.89) certainly works out a cheaper option & and easier, surely worth trying first.
