Iron Vs. Rapido

Over the winter looking to re-build the top end, at present run a 225 Rapido with a MB billet head & 30mm delly +48 mm clubman ,its been a good set up,but fancy a change.Basically the lads I ride with run Mugello 186's & RT195's & the difference in the amount of fuel I put in compared to them is beginning to p*ss me off a bit
So here's my plan, not after balls out speed, mainly run at 50-55mph on A roads when we go away, with the odd bit of motorway ,this is something I've been thinking of doing the last couple of years to be honest, just looking for a bit of feedback really.

I have a Indian iron 200 barrel on its original bore, but will need a rebore to the next size.So I'm thinking rebore, light tune/clean up of the barrel, wosner piston, recently bought (second hand ) delly 26 & exhaust will either be - RS 42mm reverse cone - 48 mm clubman or if scootopia bring out there clubman, one of those. With a GT head head (one of Rich Taylors). Spoke to AF Rayspeed with the rebore/piston & mild tune that comes in a about £172 (plus he was going to check my crank as well) I know it would be cheaper with a Asso piston. Then add on the GT porcupine head.

The above isn't that far off the price of a new 200 classic rapido

So far the only things I am certain of are 1) the porcupine head 2) changing to a 200 barrel.Any thoughts or feedback welcome, looking to drop the engine next month for its annual winter overhaul, and really just after a reliable mile muncher.
