Any one out fitted a RT 225 kit cyinder head with the 8 fixing setup?
I've just spotted something on my kit and after advise....
Why are the cylinder head holes for the four long cylinder studs threaded?
The holes in the cylinder head for the 4 additional head bolts are not threaded (as expected) and screw into the cylinder barrel.

I'd say the threads were used to hold the head for machining.
