What are people using to set their squish ?...just bought some 3.25mm diameter lead free solder and it seems a lot less maluable or harder than the full fat lead ...

Cheers Simon.

I've used Blue tack before, but very thin soldering wire (lead free) twisted together seems fine.

for a 58 stroke bud I'd be looking for 1.1 min

Squish clearance is more related to the conrod length than the stroke. 1% of conrod length is the usual recomendation, but the engine must have perfectly good bearings.

So you need a good selection of conrod lengths to get your squish right
