Nice idea Mick.

I have done away with both the original choke and petrol tap lever, so I have filled the holes and smoothed them off. Here is a photo from early in the build:

Slight hijack
I always like to look beyond the photo subject when it's someone's garage/workshop to see what else is lurking.... I see ;
The backside of red small frame poking out there.....and a frame that looks like it would take a F/G one piece back end
What's the story on them two, Martin?

Yes, the red small frame is an SS90 copy with a PK136 polossi engine and a V Force reed valve. I am caretaking it for my son, who currently resides in the US. The story of the repairs to the bodywork is a long-one, it not for this forum.

The other scooter is indeed the Arbarth scooter that has been the test bed of many Oily Rag articles in Jetset. I have a refurbished engine for this sitting on the shelf, ready to go into this frame so it can go back on the road. All I need is a bit more time in the workshop. If only the government could force me to stay at home for the next few weeks.
