Anybody gone for the long stroke on the Avanti Kit, not long got my kit and was thinking of going down this route, I understand it can make the Kit quite peaky due to change in port timings but was gonna fit a 5 Speed box which would hopefully smooth things out?
Just looking for some experience/advice please

Hope the build Is progressing well.
Nick j who i ride with runs a 60, and I've heard of a few others.

I run a 58 and there's little difference on the road between the 2 of us.
Choice of pipe would probably have more say in characteristics of the bike than 2mm on the stroke.
5 speed on mine was a game changer. But I think that's the same with any kit.
As with anything Avanti talk to Ron.

I have a 60/110 crank in my reed valved Avanti which is fine but I would strongly advise you to give Ron a call in case there are any skirt/port timing issues, he is a true gent.

Nick J runs a gt 60/110 No problems.
