Not doubting the source of the info, but would using a 100 x 90 x 10 on a standard rim =ish a 350 x 10 on a wide rim...?

100/90 x 10 on a standard rim is very slightly 'taller' and wider than than a 3.50 x 10 on the standard rim.

I'd imagine that a 3.50 x 10 on a wide rim would have a lower profile than the 100/90 on a standard one.

Cheerz Ross! That was the answer that I was getting at, the numbers made no sense to me but 'wider' & 'taller' (as long as not the 400x10 bump stop dumped, no problems in a 75mph blow out Margate '88 scenario, square section steel mesh thing...) were what I in my ignorance was looking into, specifically the wider bit...

The metric sizes are quite hard to get your head round.

100 means it's 100 mm wide which is more or less 4"

90 is the aspect ratio, so 90% of 100 mm therefore 90 mm tall which is slightly more than 3.5".

100/90 usually go on the rear with no issues with standard rims.
