Here's the end result of nearly 2 months of just about everynight in the garage. But I'm just about ready for the start of the season. Boy I'm looking forward to it.

All labeled up Col. Still got ign switch to fit. Can't decide where to put it. It's looking like the original key position. Just don't like the idea of a toggle switch there.

Cracking Daz, thought about it myself, but the thought of losing three stone put me off. Will def get to a meeting or two in order to support, help, hinder, whatever. If you want putting up when at Mallory let me know.

Scotty put his hand in his pocket to sponsor you, i see. Fair play to him. He wont like that NGK logo will he! lol

Gary,
Should have seen us trying to bump start it yesterday, I ended up falling over and bruising my ribs, I'm certainly not as fit as I used to be. The bairn found it very amusing as I hit the ground!
It was a lot easier when we were 15 bumping scoots on the fields!
I must say Daz has turned out a nice machine there, as usual.

Hi thanks for all comments , yes we had a chew trying to bump it Nel. I must say now the back tyre has scuffed up it is a little easier.

The motor is a chalkie white rapido. It's a few year old now 2010 spec. It's a well tuned rapido barrell , rm 250 single ring piston , big head air scooped. T5 flywheel , augusto 6000, 37mm dellorto and a chalkie pipe.

I got the carb what I thought was somewhere near. A quick blast up and down the street is as far as I could go. I depend upon my licence for my job.

My 1st outing is croft , which is the last weekend in March. So all welcome , it's sat and Sunday.

I just had it to chiselspeed today for a setup. It went in with 27.5 bhp which was lean at midrange. After Martin worked his magic we ended up with a reliable 26 bhp. Peak horse between 8750 and 9000rpm and runs well into 10000rpm holding onto the power. It's on a LI150 box on 16/ 46. I've had a quick spin on a local very quite road and I must say it goes very well.

Quite a few lads with bump start rollers at meetings Daz, It takes the effort and panic out of starting your bike when the tanoy shouts for your race to go to the holding bay, or when you`ve had the motor in a million bits between races... Steve Wright will happily let you use his, they run off a car battery, contact him anyway mate regarding an early season practice session at Langbaurgh circuit (is that the spelling) near Middlesborough.... you`d be hard pushed to find a kinder lad than Steve....

I think its Cadwell Park that will blow you away, its my scariest to ride around, but favourite to spectate at with superb facilities...
You will make some good friends within the BSSO, loads of free advice and help, but take spare duds....

26 BHP from a piston port 205cc motor is a bit good eh.....!!!!! Really looking forward to seeing it go

Yes it impresses me the way it goes Col. It looks better in the pics than it is. It's just powder coated then the colours are rattle caned by me.

Here's a pic of it on the dyno yesterday. Will post a pic of the graph soon.

I had a targaline gear change set which I was going to put on a road bike. I thought the precise gear change was more important on this.
