Recently acquired this original paint DL 150. I'll be stripping it, cleaning/ polishing it, rebuilding the engine, forks etc. And the a full rebuild using as many of the original parts as possible.

Needs an original seat Guiliari seat cover if anyone has one spare!

Very nice, and with loads of patina. Just shows that good original untouched ones are still out there, they just need to be found

It's a series one framebreather which I've bee collecting parts for. Going to be a period racer type thing with a 200 - 225 engine, damper forks and original disc brake!
My son and I are going to build it together. Nearly got everything I need. Just need the money for welding and paintwork!

Thanks, plan to strip, clean, rebuild and ride this DL 150!
Bought a DL 125 too! All original parts but it's been repainted a long time in the past ( poorly) and also needs some TLC! Plan to strip and clean it too and just rebuild it with a few replacement parts, not painting it as I think the first poor repaint is part of its story! I'll just carry on the story by making it rd worthy!

That is a great example of an original red paint DL/GP that is nothing like 8073

You know what Adam, side by side they aren't too dissimilar! I'll photograph them in the daylight next to one another!

How did the red DL end up Craig?
I'm interested to see what you did with the original paint.
