Another Euro Lambretta

This isn’t strictly true as I never made it to the Eurolambretta in Austria. Instead, I’m travelling around North Wales attending matches in the Euro Under 19s tournament. This one was Denmark v Spain (3-0 to Spain if you’re interested) in front of 1100 at Denbigh Town :)

Lovely looking scooter, well done for the attendance at the football. What gave you the interest? I have a couple of friends whose sons play in junior league. I shall have to ask them about it

I seem to be struggling to get to many scooter rallies this year but have a few odd days free around now. North Wales is pretty easy for me to get to and there are some lovely roads. Also, I love football and have never been to any of the grounds - Bangor ( I went to the old Bangor City stadium but not the new one), Caernarfon Town and Denbigh Town. It was an easy decision, especially as the match tickets are only £8 :D

Match 2 yesterday evening in Bangor. This involved camping. Ukraine beat Serbia 2-1 in front of 859, a significant number of whom were Ukrainian refugees and some lads from down south who were involved with a charity supporting Ukrainians in the UK.

As I was travelling to the game via the A55 and needed to carry camping stuff, I took the Series 2 which has a Stage 4 200 engine and can keep up with some of the traffic on the A55. Coming back today though, I took a more scenic route via Betws Y Coed and Denbigh. That was a lovely ride.

Enjoy. That’s a nice ride through Bala. Unfortunately, I enquired about a ticket after it was sold out.

A great ride through the backroads of North Wales to get to Caernarfon this morning. The game was at Caernarfon Town and pitted Croatia against Serbia. It finished 3-0 to Croatia (they were a bit flattered by that scoreline) and means that they’ll meet Spain in the semi finals on Wednesday. I suspect that is where their tournament ends.

Having gone for a ten pounds campsite in Bangor the other day, I’m treating myself to a proper hotel room tonight. Whether I’ll keep my eyes open to watch England is debatable :)

If you’re interested in football, this lad is going to be a good player.
