Thanks Mag. It seems she's all dressed up and nowhere to go. Well apart from the boro on Monday.

It seems I've made a major boo boo ! Last month I looked into doing my acu trainning day to get my licence. The rules have changed now in the way you need to go out on the track. As well as half a day in the classroom. Because I didn't have the scoot ready I didn't book the day. In February there was a training day a couple of times a week , every week. I thought March would be the same. I looked to book yesterday hoping within a week I'd be doing my acu. It appears March ain't as poppular as feb. I missed a couple of days on the 1st and 2nd :( . The next dates are 27th and 28th. Then if I pass I forward my certificates onto acu headquarters and they issue my licence. With croft being the 28th and 29th there's no way I'll have my licence in time. So sorry for anybody who may have taken the time to come and cheer , watch or laugh at me. It appears that will have to waite until Mallory.

I've also just aquired one of these stage 6 tachos from chiselspeed. Just wondered if anybody is using one ? What they like. It's got rev's , head temp and shift light at desired rpm.

I use one on my sprinter. You have to make sure the lead is secured around the plug holder properly.I had mine in the grooves of the plug holder.Had head temp gauge on as well .Works ok,though not sure about shift light as couldnt see it too well to see if it worked.

Hi Jonno

I had a Krober rev counter where I've mounted the st 6. It was perfect for the Krober but I'm thinking it's going to be to far down for this. What you think ? I think I'm going to be mounting it further up. I've got my shift light set. Looking forward to using that. Set at 8700 rpm

This is not where I'm leaving the wires , just in case anybody thought. It's just for testing.

Daz, please keep us up to date with your season. I'm sure I can speak for others when I say we enjoy and admire what you are doing (read: I'd never have the bottle to do it!)

Good luck, mate.

If You get your training done, and speak with the acu, they'll usually do what they can to turn it round in a couple of days. Might be tricky this time of.year though with everyone leaving it until the last minute to apply.

all the gizmos need to be in your eyeline otherwise they'll be no use to you when racing, scoot's looking real good.

Nice bike Daz, very smart. I hope you manage to get out at Croft. Racing is what you were made for. I think I might have said this to Weeksy and Scotty years ago! Enjoy it.

You may well have done Rob but the line I most remember you saying was in relation to the right hander/Hill at the end of the straight at 3 sisters-Wigan which was
" Keep it in 4th, flat out right over the hill ya big Fanny! You were a great mentor Rob!

Yes Darren, but you got it right in the end. 8-) I've still got the 14 tooth sprocket if Daz needs it.

Nice one Rob. We'll see how I'm cut out for the track. I'm looking forward to it. The 14 tooth may come in , mind you it's trying to point skywards with a 16.
I'll let you know how I get on at langbargh tomorrow.

Hi peejay
I know what your saying , I'll try out the rev counter tomorrow. If the heights no good I'll move it. The Krober was perfect there as it's face is so big. But with this we'll see.

Club members turning out (on a damp monday) to show support and help out, at nothing more than a practice session is impressive Daz......

Great pics by the way..

The text saying you were "just fitting wet tyre`s" left me feeling very envious... NOT..
