Yeah no problems. Cheers. To add to that..

This is all the info I get get for my area for all those not camping. All within five minutes max of the event.

Southampton's the other way &I'm sure you'll find far more accomodation there.

I must add that the weather is NORMALLY spot on at the time of year for those camping. Basic amenities are provided free of charge also.

Catering is provided on site, not included in the price of the event ticket, but it's reasonable so I am told.

This is where Solent Cougars S.C have their rally every july.

I will add that Stoneham lane is closed from mid morning til 6 pm at the Eastleigh football club end. This is to allow full pedestrian access for supporters going to & leaving the match. Eastleigh FC are at home that day against Tranmere rovers so expect a few thousand people walking down there. If you allow yourself time you'll miss all that anyway. Listen very carefully, I shall say this only once...

If you access the event from the M27 (airport junction) which I wholly advise, follow the signs for A335 - Southampton/Swaythling & go down the dual carriageway until the first set off lights, (there is a low bridge opposite) go into the right hand filter lane & turn right A27 - into Bassett green road, head on up a hill to another set of lights, turn right again into Stoneham lane, through a couple of S bends & BTC is on your right.

Thats a fair bit of info to take on board but you have three months ;)

Be careful, Mel. You lot will get mistaken for Tranmere fans ;-)

Oooookay, im being thick here, I had envisaged this as a seperate start and finish point a la coast to coast type run but Im assuming from the above its the same start and finish? ie its essentially a rideout type event more like the derby 150?

Yes, a round trip, with three singing on points. Start, halfway & end.

I'm not bothered about points for singing but I do like a nice sticker . A sticker at the end will do me .

Im under the impression that only the ones marked as member rallies here viewtopic.php?f=15&t=5042 are member only, ie others open to all?

This isn't an LCGB decision, it's a decision of the host club?

A number of Affiliated Club events have been/are advertised as members of LCGB/VCB etc only, with the opportunity to join at the event with the incentive of reduced or even free admission to that rally.

I'm sure Andy will be along soon to clarify.

Derek (scooterlam) is currently sorting the flyer. When its done all details will be in the public domain. I don't really want to stick snippets on information a bit at a time as its gets confusing. FOR ME! :(
