my Flying 8 Balls rally pics

being old enough to remember trips to Snetterton in the 60's before the M25 was built this was my route to the rally.



i had a trouble free 200 mile ride in great weather and arrived mid afternoon on friday


my accommodation for two nights was the Angel Inn, just across the road from the rally site









just to prove that my scoot was there before the cover went on as rain was forecast for fri night





















































this was my fave of the rally
Mr. Vass's authentic looking "shop scoot" from the 60's complete with "aged paintjob"

























































some departures were delayed on saturday due to inclement weather













































good to see that Cobby was ready for the rain!



i was blessed with great weather on the return trip.
thanks to our hosts for a brill time with nice relaxed atmosphere

Thanks peejay for the kind words x and the sausage award topped off a great weekend its also clear I need glasses as I could identify a single jet in my bag of carb bits needed to help dom and sue jet thier scooter for the homeward journey x

Lovely pics there mi duck,looked a great little rally. Wanted to go but had other commitments, oh well maybe next time Does anyone know who owns the DTC 's' type which is yellow, blue and white? Just asking as it looks like the sister bike, registration wise to my 'S' type, it would be nice to know. cheers,Speedy.
