I wasn’t sure I’d be able to make this but now I can.

It seems that the two campsites near the town are booked up for non electric tent pitches and the B&B situation is a bit pricey.

Has anyone any suggestions that doesn’t involve staying twenty odd miles away?

We staying at Beatock caravan park it’s about 3 miles away
Ring them they may allow camping ?

Thanks. Confusingly the number I found on the internet was another site in Inverness I then phoned back one of the ones in Moffat. Whilst they are fully booked, they said it was likely that they would find space if I turn up on the day. I’ll go with that.

If I dont get a ticket I might have a hotel room. Have you had tickets arrive yet?
