Does anyone know when the road to Mersea Island will be closed, due to being covered by the sea, next Saturday, please?

The tide will cover the causeway (The Strood) about half an hour either side of high tide on Friday p.m. at 15:15. It will go over again in the middle of the night, and at 15:45 on Saturday afternoon. You should be off the island on Sunday well before the next high tide.
The tide is also affected by high winds and barometric pressure, so the tide can be over for more or less time than anticipated.
There is also the West Mersea Regatta on the same weekend, so West Mersea will be much busier than usual over the weekend. Excellent fireworks on Saturday night at the Regatta.
I hope this helps, and you enjoy the rally.

No day tickets are available.
Entry on the gate for the weekend is £20 per person if you arrive by scooter. Please do not arrive by car without having purchased a ticket in advance AND a car parking ticket. Advanced ticket applications have closed.

Just to confirm this if you are day tripping to the rally it's £20 admission fee.

No Donnie, it starts Friday and runs through to Sunday. I don't think it is aimed at the day tripper so it makes sense to make the most out of it by staying over at least one of the nights in order to take in the music/have a drink or 2 and talk bollix into the small hours
I went Friday night and left at 4 pm Saturday (dinner with inlaws

?

I went saturday a.m & had a great day/night.
The cars/vans kept separate policy didn't apply around where we camped though. Three vans & a caravan within spitting distance. Made sure my scooter was securely locked because of this.

There's mention of some fisty cuffs and wreckless riding round the campsite on another forum involving the twisty go brigade resulting in someone complaining and ending up in a ambulance

I only stayed Friday night and left at 4pm on Saturday and didn't personally notice any problems but itsSounds like security needs beefing up a bit
