That should prove interesting once they hear there's a few mods about. So who's gonna stick their Lambretta into their custom show?

The Bulldog Bash was on at the same time as Shipston a few years back, and the LCGB ride-out went past the entrance. No issues.

It was on that weekend I learned that the entry fee for BB was something like £70. It makes the LCGB rally at Shipston appear to be exceptional value.

(It IS exceptional value)

That's true Martin but I'd prefer the topless dancers to not have beards ( at any altitude.....)

No worries, the president of the London angels who organise the bash use to be a member of our scooter club in the eighties, he was pretty well known on the scene at the time. I think he still wears his parka on the Harley :D

You have to be some kind of complete wetwipe to still carry animosity between the scooter & motorbike fraternity nowadays. I will get to a bulldog bash on my Lammie one day, perhaps next year. It's £40 for the weekend & the bands, entertainment etc provide great vfm.

If anything there is more animosity between different scooter clubs than between scooterists and bikers, you'd have thought they'd know better at their age

Not yet, but I am sure that it is in hand. They are tickets well worth waiting for.

I always say to my mates, "come to Shipston. It is great" but once again, I will be riding on my own to this rally. I'm not worried, I know I will meet lots of mates from across the country at Shipston, and that is part of the fun; not knowing who you will meet and quite what will happen.

Bring it on.
