Would like to get opinions and some advice if I should install a brake light on my Ld150 1957, if its easy and if so, where can I get a brake light?
Thanks in advance!

What type of tail light does it have now?

All you actually need is the dual bulb holder but I can't find it for sale separately.
You could buy a round light (much cheaper) and scavenge the dual bulb holder from there;

And a brake light switch:

My D is away for the winter and I can't remember what I did but probably similar to the above.
Wiring is simple. Wire from rectifier side of the fuse to brake light switch - brake light switch to light - light to ground.
(wired this way the brake light will work with the bike off)
jbcollier wrote:Specific wire colours are hard to say as I do not have your specific wiring diagram in front of me. There is a fuse that shields the battery from too much draw. You want to hook up to that fuse but not to the side that goes to the battery. In the diagram I am looking at, it's a grey wire. That may not be the same for your scoot. Trace the wires from the fuse and figure it out.
