Grease nipple
Posted: Fri Apr 28, 2017 9:22 amI have just overtightened the grease nipple on the front drum for the brake lever and it has snapped off. Would the scooter be ok to use? I have packed the hole full of grease. I just want to make sure.
I would have thought so, but get it repaired when you can.
BTW, I had a nipple break-off (the scooter) recently, and I extracted it with one of those reverse-thread stud extractor tools. I think it was only the second time I have got one of these to extract a broken thread and I've had the tools for 35 years.
