Quieter exhaust?

I've got a Sito Ancillotti exhaust on my TV 200 which I find a bit too loud.
Can anyone recommend a quieter Clubman style exhaust that would give similar or better performance?
Cheers in advance, Chris.

The scootopia ones are quieter than some but may not be the quietest clubman going.

Quiet and performance - aren't they mutually exclusive in this environment?

There's a reason why most bikers wear ear plugs, I'd sooner have a loud exhaust that warns other vehicles on the road of my presence and use ear plus to soften the noise than decrease performance and road 'presence'

What you said makes perfect sense, particularly for the safety aspect.

However, trying to get Plod to understand that when they see you as a soft target is a different matter.

What I don't understand is how come Farmer Giles gets to used his implements on the road with no registration or lights, well after dark with total immunity from prosecution....

Actually, I do understand, but I'd be getting 'political'

Fit my VW reverse cone on for a bit, then suddenly yours will seem much quieter than you remembered.

I've never had a problem with the plod despite running 3 Lambrettas with loud pipes (ancilotti cluman, bgm clubman with shot baffles and fran race), the neighbours however are a different story, especially when I used to ride to the train station at 5:30 every morning

Different times.....

I got stopped twice in the same day in the same County in the 70’s on a fairly standardish GP150.

I did blow a fuse the second time & the Copper backed off...Ha! He’d have only made the reserve list in the Miner’s Strike, as he had inadequate bullying capacity.

Another mate got stopped for having an elasticated kiddie’s Police helmet atop his proper helmet. We’d got all of ¼ mile from the fairground. They never said a word as to why they’d stopped us, just gave him a ‘Producer’

My mate was deliberately acting the fool, but I know who looked the bigger fools! The crowd were in raptures of laughter! Legend...

BGM clubman has a silencer made for it. Saw / heard one in action at this years Euro on an old Italian chaps bike, one of Silvios mates, Really worked well if a quiet bike is what you after.
