Can someone confirm what carb is allowed, getting conflicting reports from dealers and t'internet.

"Carburettor
Carburettor used must be from approved specified list. Dellorto VHSH 30 round slide,
Dellorto VHSA 30 flat slide. No polishing, No Power jet or modifications to standard carb.
No force induction, or ram pipes to be fitted to carb.
Only the use of standard Vetronite reed petals, as supplied with the kit is permitted."

VHSH listed on dealers comes up as a flat slide, VHSA as no longer made??

Confused.

Shaun.

Could I suggest you give Andy Francis a ring directly, to clarify?

Oops, sorry. was with his last week and he did mention he would be off line for a couple of weeks. Andy does read the forum regularily so with luck he may see this thread and post an answer.

You could send him an email and he may reply sooner?

Is the info on the BSSO Forum any help (AF Rayspeed appear to be offering to supply the carbs, so maybe Ben might be able to answer your query?):

Cheers Toot,
AF confirmed the mis-print in the regs.

All sorted now :-)
