hello - progressing well with my restoration. so much so that I'm looking at actually getting some new wheels for the old girl.

Scootopia have rims+S83s and tubes for £50 - I emailed and they said the tubes are good for front & back.

http://www.scootopia.co.uk/product/7467-3320/Scootopia-Lambretta-35010-innocenti-stamped-white-wheel-rim-with-michelin-S83--butyl-inner-tube-wheel-deal

Does anyone have any advice whether these are OK? - they look fine - i'm running a 175, so won't be breaking any land speed records.

thank you!

Andrew

S83's are a very good tyre for a standard scooter. Scootopia are a reputable firm and I've no reason to suspect that they' would sell any rims that weren't ok. As to the tubes you can't fit right angled valve stems to the front as they can foul the fork link bolts. Some people say that the 45 degree stems are not suited for the rear as they are difficult to inflate due to clearance issues with the hub. I've not found this a problem and use the same tubes back and front.
Paul.

I think they'll be fine for what you want. The rims are identical to the originals. I've got a couple myself. Sounds like a good deal to me.
