Toolbox bolts

Are the bottom toolbox bolts meant to be straight or bent/curved. I have one straight one and one bent/curved one.
The straight one seems to go into place with no issues while the other is a fiddle, but is meant to be a fiddle?

The bolts are bent slightly for top and bottom. The bottom one is slightly longer. See these pictures from Scooter Restorations. These should help

Thank you, methinks someone has been messing around a bit, the one with quite an unusual curve to it is almost impossible to fit. I bashed it a bit to make it straighter and it fits much more easier.
So I’ll bash both and see where I get.
