Hi peeps, checking my engine internals over i noticed that the front sprocket spring could be turned by hand without a great deal of force (no movement in and out) . Is that ok or should i replace it with a new one.

Just checked mine whilst doing a top end rebuild.Mine cannot be turned by hand as it is under pressure/ load.Did have it on an old original Innocenti spring fitted before which if I remember rightly did turn by hand which is why I changed it.Now have one of the red Casa ones fitted which cannot be turned by hand and handles the torque very well.Hope this helps
