Battery set up
Posted: Wed Mar 06, 2024 8:04 pmIm looking to fit a 12v battery, charged from rectifier, to power rear view camera and indicators. What amperage battery would I need to ower these and maybe a 12v charger?
A small burglar alarm battery will do. 3.2Ah min. 7Ah Max.
Remember, most of the power your peripherals will use DC power supplied from your stator via your regulator/rectifier. The battery is only there to soak-up surplus electricity and provide extra power when required.
