Advice on legshield repair?

I’ve got some corrosion and pinholes where the legshields have rotted from the top down.
I don’t want to replace them as they’re the original item and straight.
They’re going to go for powder coat, so I need a metal repair that will withstand the process.
What’s the best way to repair these? (I’ll be getting someone else with the skills to do it)
