Thoughts please
Just built series one engine and found on plug shop that plug was black
Also by error kicked scooter off with out choke
I think main oil seal has blown
Ive checked choke works fine
Any thoughts before i pull it apart
New viton seal

Standard carb 175 top end
106 main jet running through original filter

What was the throttle position on the plug chop ?
Was there much white smoke coming from exhaust?

I would say not that smoky but there is a bit
Oil doesnt smell of petrol

Grade of plug?
Wouldn’t think it would be main seal has gone.

And when you say plug was black ! Sooty or oily ?
What actual carb you using?

Change the plug to an champion n5 or NGK B7es for dialling in a fresh rebuilt engine and take it from there
