Scootopia do good ones. I always think bedding in a drum brake properly is the answer to most of the problems. I only ever use mine gently initially and I've never had a duff rear brake.

The Jockeys Boxenstop rear shoe set up was AFAIK meant as a “fix” for the dodgy brake posts position on Indian casings. If you aren’t using Indian casing then I stick to standard shoes

There's a difference between getting your hub skimmed and getting your shoes skimmed.
I found that new shoes were crap until they bedded, then they were surprisingly useable.

I always use cheap Makita brake shoes and they've worked alright and I get a good brake.
