series 3 airbox in a series 2

Has anyone used a series 3 airbox in a series 2 scooter and do they fit without any alteration.

They should do, as far as I can see. They key is the hook for the top trunnion. On the S2 it's set further back and the S2 airbox has a narrow neck to accomodate it. First thing you want to do if you want it to breath a bit better is to try and fit a S3 airbox, but that is a tight squeeze and really doesn't work, in my opinion. Whereas the S3 toolbox seems to me to be the same dimensions, with the only difference being that hook is set more upright and higher. So, technically I think you should be able to use a S3 toolbox and fit a S3 airbox if you wish.
