Hi peeps before I go and pester waddo my mates 150 special starts first kick runs a dream but when warm a b••stard to start not great we engines so be kind

Bog standard with 175 kit fitted years ago no other probs at all thanx jazzy

Plug colours may give us better idea. ? But does sound like weak mixture or wrong/defective plug.

When warm and not starting, try removing the rubber to the airfilter from the carb mouth... and leave carb open...
Does is start then no-probs... best bet is that you have spit-back in the rubber...
Either drill a small hole 2-3mm in the bottom of the rubber to let the fuel escape, or switch fuel off in advance of switching engine off so that the engine sucks in that spit back.

Check that your choke is working correctly, and the brass plunger is not sticking in the on position. I had a similar problem with warm starting caused by this.

Cheers guys the choke was very loose were it fits the carb that sorted new plug will see how it goes now

I had warm start problem for years turned out choke wasn't turning off,and I needed new fuel tap,was letting small amount of fuel in and when warm flooded all the time

The choke was very loose were it fits into the carb this sorted and new plug will start now when warm but still takes a few kicks gonna strip carb when got more time and check tap thanx guys
