Any better (easier) way to clean up an Indian casing to get casting marks out and just generally make it look better than wet and dry and good old elbow grease

Mark Broadhurst tumbles them, you will get good results but it is not a budget option

I friend of mine did that with his kids washing his new company car once, One of his kids used one of those Scotchbrite abrasive pads down one side because "daddy had told him it was really good for cleaning stuff". It was almost down to the primer!
He did it himself after that........

Dremel, files of various shapes and sizes, sand paper of various grit but not to rough, wet n dry of various grit, then autosol, it'll take time as mine did, but will come good in the end..........................eventually

I thought a quick rub down with fine emery cloth, toothbrush & chrome polish would soon see the job done but alas no.
I gave up after several cold nights and several hrs rubbing last winter...............

I think JL Polishing has ceased to be. A while back he posted he had had enough of polishing.
